Up and Down and All Around.

We spent 7….count them 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 hours at Safeway yesterday trying to get loaded.  Once they did get us loaded….6, count them 1,2,3,4,5,6 pallets (paltry amount) we get the paperwork and discover that the bill of lading is for California, not PA.  So they had to unload us and reload us with the correct product.  Which put us so far behind, we had to do night driving.  Grrrrrr.  At least the sunset was pretty.

What is significant about this photo, is a pick up truck went flying by us and I commented that he’s asking for an accident going so fast in the fog.  So I took a picture of the fog.

We are in Texas, at a Safeway trying to get unloaded.  We’ve been HERE since 9 am, it is now after 1 pm.  They say there are 39 cases missing.  This is being worked on as we wait some more.

We are suppose to re-power the last delivery in Houston, to go to PA.  However, with this delay, we cannot make 1500 miles in 2 days.  So who knows what will happen with that.  In the meantime, I dream about Mom’s cooking and don’t know why.

 

 

 

Okay, the missing 39 cartons has been cleared, we now go to a truckstop to repower with an empty trailer and then wait at said truckstop to repower with the load that goes to PA.  We get to sic another 5-? hours waiting for that driver to swap with.  We will be driving tonight.  Weep for us.  I am.  lol.
